Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

You feel that groove man! Really nice take - Played with that wanted bite from the right hand and with great tone for this purpose smile.gif Around 0:08 You lost a bit of control over unwanted strings but anyway nothing much to complain here. Pleasant to listen, good touch and well matched tone. Congratulations!

Hi Blavod, good playing!

I like the attitude of your playing. You can play this one with groove and a very groovy vibe. Comparing your take with the original I can say that yours is rocker while the original is more "perfectly" played. It would be interesting to see you working on details to add some perfection to your take but trying to keep the rocker spirit. Do you think that it's possible? smile.gif

Focus on details but keep on rocking. wink.gif

Hey man this had loads of attitude and the tone was spot on !

As the chaps have already said, you got some unwanted open string noise during the main riff in a couple of places.

The timing was a bit inconsistent too, mainly during the lead section. The only cure for that is spending more time with whatever piece one is working on.

But taken as it is, it's great stuff ! smile.gif
