I am a teacher and am arranging a tour for some of my students.

I have flights booked with Easyjet. 3 students have dropped out of the tour but I have refilled those places.

Easyjet want to charge me £480 for changing 3 names on my booking!!!!! mad.gif mad.gif

They say it is an admin charge

I agree that's pretty much theft, unless there's some hidden reason I can't imagine... air companies are just greedy.

hahah this might be true smile.gif

Every low budget airline has strange rules for a flight or ticket change. There are always options on their website to pay more and then you can make changes with no charge. If you bought the normal price ticket then this is what usually happens. It happened to me before.

man, this is sure a lot of money. You should complain or something, try to see if this is really the issue. What kind of paper work costs 470 quid?

That's stupid. 3 places on an EasyJet carrier don't cost that much money.
Just don't change the name, pay the places and buy 3 new places on another flight or something. tongue.gif

If you are insured against travel cancellation perhaps you can even get the money back from the 3 booked places ?

Men, those are just Thierry Henry's... I mean thieves... tongue.gif

Agreed with Emir,

The cheapest the airline, the more restrictions they put on changing flights or bookings,

that's when they compensate the low price I guess
