So time passes too quickly it is officially safe to say. So the year is up for me and I'm still here smile.gif I'd like to thank everybody I have spoken to in the last year and those that have especially helped me out and have been really helpful and friendly to me. So an extra thanks to the people who have helped me with guitar and personal issues of which I have many biggrin.gif. I am after all Captain Negativity tongue.gif.

So I have posted over 4500 posts of absolute pointlessness over the past 12 months. Maybe a few that have been worthwhile laugh.gif and I think the best way to show why I stay here is to show my progression over the last 12 months. If there has been any at all smile.gif Firstly here are two collaborations. One done near the start of my time here and one done last week.

Attached File  GMC_Ballad.mp3 ( 1.13MB ) Number of downloads: 153
- 12 months ago

Attached File  OC_80s_Rock_Collab_with_backing.mp3 ( 757.65K ) Number of downloads: 154
- Current

Also my band has greatly improved I think because of my time here and even with music creation and recording. Here is the same song I do with my band over 12 months apart and the difference is amazing in my opinion. I could never have done this over 12 months ago.

Attached File  Organised_Confusion___Depressive_Minds_Live_14_07_07.mp3 ( 4.96MB ) Number of downloads: 174
- Over 12 months ago

Attached File  04___Depressive_Minds.mp3 ( 5.87MB ) Number of downloads: 172
- Current

So I hope I'm progressing. I'm quite a depressed person and so I will always seem to be negative but I do enjoy being at GMC and think I am slowly progressing. I have worse days and better days. I hope I'm still here in 12 months time and thanks to all the instructors that have helped me out over the last 12 months and to just give a massive thanks to the instructors that have helped me the most. Thanks David, Ivan, Andrew, Muris, Vinod, Trond, Nemanja, Pedja, Nick, Emir, and a huge thanks to Kris for this awesome resource.

Thanks again everybody. Another year awaits smile.gif

The thing about being really stupid, is that there are a zillion ways to be a moron. There are usually several ways to be intelligent, given a situation, but it is a small finite number. But there are always a zillion ways to be to blithering idiot. So finding a new way to have the intellect of an artichoke is nothing to be proud of really, it is easy to do.

So true... To bad im still an artichoke haha

Thanks everyone for the comments on my bands song and I'm sure I will still be as active in the forum for the next 12 months. Shortly I get a bit of a break when I go home for Christmas to see my family and friends. I can't wait to head home for a while smile.gif
