Well if we take into consideration all the female singers ever, my all time favorite is Aretha Franklin, hardly anyone will surpass her today

that's niiiice, i love the song, it is a pretty poppy song but it's full of soul and blues, and gabriel, i love your cover, luciana has a great sweet voice, great stuff.

I see nothing wrong with pop songs if the lines and the orchestrations are nice and of course, if the lyrics have a a good meaning, music is music it don't have to be metal to be cool - I just had to say that

How about Tarja Turunen from Nightwish? Vibrato in the beginning is pretty intense here but check out the whole ideo as its an epic performance!
