Same here, I bought the album, listened to it once and put it on ebay wink.gif I definitely prefer them without orchestra, specially since this version always gives me the impression that an orchestra and a band are playing at the same time, just not the same song... something is weird about this.

S&M, in my opinion, is a nice CD, but I prefer Metallica without orchestra. Besides, I think that it's much more interesting what Pain Of Salvation has done with an orchestra in their album "Be". Check it out if you can. I also suggest the live album of Be. Simply amazing

I thought it was an interesting idea but like Trond said some songs worked some didn't. I do own the album, and every now and then I'll bust it out for a listen, but it's far from my favourite from Metallica.
