Hi

I took my first selfrecorded track i did and tried to opimize it a bit with Wavelab. The track itself is one or two years old. happy.gif
It is still not perfect but it's more pleasent to listen to it.
I used Digitech RP1000 and Cubase LE 4 to record the track.

Enjoy!

I'm realy a noob in Wavelab. But I used the SudioEQ to remove the buzzing from the rhythm guitar and to add more clarity on the solo guitars.
Then I used Roomworks SE for a more natural sound.

Nice one mate! I am not usually working with that many synths, but I like the atmosphere.

I used a pluggin called Vita for some strings which I made in a lesson here at GMC -> The one called 'Violins and Hybrid picking' - but otherwise I am pretty much a straightforward guitarded dude biggrin.gif

Awesome man, sounds great! I'm very interested in some plugins by Waves that do a similar thing to what you've done here. They've got plugins specifically designed for removing artifacts, hiss, hum, crackling... great for not only what you've done here, but I wanna take some of my favorite jazz recordings (Joe Henderson, Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, pre-1970's stuff) and see if I can polish them up a bit for a more enjoyable listening experience. Being able to hear those recordings in higher quality would mean the world to me! Haha. smile.gif

Anyways, great job man, I really like the recording, especially for a first attempt!
