Justed wanted to say what a great site and I know I'll be learning alot here. I'm 34 years old and have always wanted to shred on a guitar. That said, I'm finaly getting serious about it. After learning the Solo from "Fade To Black" from Kris's lesson, I knew this was the place to be online. I'm going to start with the 6 beginner exercises first and master those befor moving on. Thanks for all the "welcomes" I know this is not the place to be asking, but I just bought a new guitar with active EMG's 81 & 85. My question is this. Is it normal to hear a little more feedback through the amp. It's not alot, just a little more than my guitar with passives. I also notice that when I turn away from the amp (my body between the guitar and amp, it pretty much goes away.) Anyway, thanks guys and I'm proud to be appart of GMC!
