I was surfing around looking at Dean Guitars, when I saw a competition going on
http://www.deanguitars.com/shredder/contestdetails.php

Basicly: Record 60 seconds of shredding, upload it and get votes.

Any instructors or skilled GMC'ers interested? =)

Muris... just rip a bit the medley and fit it on 60 seconds...

Mate I love the tune... (the bad side is that every time I listen to it, I remember how bad can be playing with a bad prepared drummer).

Thats such a great contest Idea, If anyone here gets a video uploaded you should let us know so we can vote for you!

On a side note, I was just at Monsters of Rock 2008 in calgary AB Canada and managed to score some floor tickets. Zakk Wylde ended up throwing his guitar...yes he actually sacrificed it to the crowd and it soared right over my head. It ended up being the Bloodiest fight ever for the guys who had caught it! But I did manage to catch a drum stick used from testament and the pick used by zakk!!!! Such a good concert! 16 Bands, 12 hours of metal....Amazing

He quite often throws his equipment out, but I am not sure if I want to get hit by a flying Mahagony Les Paul blink.gif
