This band and Mr. Michel Romeo are one of my huge influences since their first album. An incredible line up and overall musician skills.

Lucky Symphony X then, since you're better then them (in my opinion) tongue.gif

I can listen to some of their songs, but they never really "grab" me..

Yes, awesome song from an awesome band, I like almost all of their songs, I don't really like the first album, but mostly because it was poorly produced.

Their albums keep getting better, after they released Odyssey I thought it couldn't get better, then they released Paradise Lost, I don't know how they will top that one

Yes I remember that tour, they played in ft Lauderdale and I missed because I had other things to do, I wanted to kill myself. Later I found out that Symphony X had canceled and some other band called Premonition opened the show.

Very talented band indeed, I have 2 CD's of them smile.gif The only thing I don't like about their songs is that they never seem to slow down for a bit. One example is in the chorus of Set the World on Fire; It sounds really epic, but I think the super-fast galloping in the background kind of ruins the feel sleep.gif Though, I like them because they do a lot of time signature changes and stuff, but not so much that it gets confusing smile.gif

True, they missed a couple of those shows back then and on those days we had a different support band, I have to admit though that I don't remember Premonition rolleyes.gif

Love the band.
From Damnation game to the latest album.
It's one of those bands I had to digest slowly but now they have become one of my favourites with no doubt.
Domination: wow I can't help moving my head everytime I listen to the bass intro Drum and the rest follow the race.
SYMPHONY X wink.gif
