its not as good as one would think,


i think joe satrianis pedal is much much better, although im not a fan of pedals for distortion


i prefer amp distortion any day!

I never tried this pedal, so can't comment on it, but I can say that tube amp overdrive is just something you cannot get with ANY pedal, no matter how good it is. I just don't see what is the purpose of having this pedal, except being Vai's commercial signature product.
