I stumbled upon this guy Oziel Zinho (or Filho, I've seen it both ways) on youtube a couple of years ago. He has a great sense of melody and phrasing. Check him out and let me know what you think!

Thanks for sharing, great player.
Chris Gedden is awesome to:)
He's originally from UK and has been working in South Africa the last couple of years.
He's moving back to UK next month. He has a myspace but that doesn't do him justice.
Legato, arpeggios 8 finger tapping He's a monster!!:)

I'm not sure if he's still considered 'unknown' but when my
Uncle first played me a tape of Joe Bonamassa I remember
no one had a clue who he was, including me. If you aren't
familiar with Joe and like the blues he is a smoking player

Joe's approach to the blues

I think my fav guitarist, and in my opinion one of the greatest i've ever heard, is Jorn Viggo of Pagan's Mind and Jorn. He's relatively famous, but hardly in the USA. he just has the ability to create amazing songs that make you feel like your soaring, especially during the chorus/solos. hopefully one day they'll be back over here so i can check them out!! biggrin.gif

I don't like to much his playing but check out Fabrizio Leo on you tube if you wanna see a monster player, he will scare you to death! Other italian guitarist to check out are William Stravato, Andrea Braido, Carlo Fimiani, Mimmo Langella, Giacomo Castellano...all awesome players!

Yes, thanks to you I've discovered Rodrigo. I love him now.

BTW Juan, stupid question follows.
Some months ago I heard an album from a spanish hard rock/metal group but I can't for my life remember there name.
If I remembered it right the album was released early spring this year. They had been playing together for some time and the album was newly released.
Any idea who they are?
