Hello! Here you can make the uploads. Remember to post these different files:

1. The solos mixed with the backing track.
2. The solo guitar without the backing track
3. The second guitar (only if you record an harmonization, a rythm guitar or something like that).

These are the 8 players:

Chorus: (one player) FretDancer69
Verse: (two players) Slammer & preownedguitar
Chorus: (one player) Gilmore
Chorus: (one player) Tjchep

Hi, well heres my crack at the first half of a verse, i left the guitar ringing on the last note so you can fade out or cut as you like smile.gif I`m quite pleased with the end result tho, I tried to be melodic for a change laugh.gif

I`ve cut the backing track, as its only the bit I needed for my bits smile.gif

Well i decided to do a quick take on an idea i had floating around my head, im going to work with it, but i want to get your oppinions on it (Especially Gabriels)

Should i start the song this way? stuff like that, oh, and im fairly sure it ventures out of key a bit, sorry bout that, just brainstorming.

Yeah when i recorded all i did was listen to teh backing track 2 or 3 times, then on the 4th try, i let loose, thats what came out. I think i had the wrong chords in my head or something. it will be higher quality hopefully by tomorrow smile.gif

Ok, whos going to record the harmonica smile.gif hehe, These takes sound great. I'm going to start working on 2nd Verse right now. So with two people doing the verse, you should just do one half of it?

Good job guys!

The uncreator: I like the idea. You can continue working on it and pay attention (as you said) because there are some notes out of key. You technique is very good so I think that you are going to record a great and impresive intro solo.

Slammer: very good job!! That's the verse... I love the licks and the melodies. wink.gif

Very good preowned! I really like the combination of rock licks with an harmonized melody. The first lick sounds great with wah wah. Pay attention to the rhythm of the last lick when you record the final guitars.

What part do you feel is most outta key?

Im guessing the legato intro thing.

EDIT
Quick question, the whole intro is in Dm right? so i should be using D Pentatonic Minor (D F G A C D)

You have to re-work different parts... mainly the first legato and the rock style licks that you play with bends. You can use D pentatonic minor but you have to choose the notes that sound better over each chord.

Yeah i kinda figured that, sadly every time i rearrange those bends to fit the chords they dont come out as i hoped, might replace them with a different set of licks.

Hi

Here is my part for 3d chorus. It´s the whole song, but I recorded only over the 3d chorus.

[attachment=3572:attachment]

[attachment=3573:attachment]

Can you hear if i´m using the Dorian mode the right way? I´ve not studied the modes much, but I tried to fit it in there when the G chord is played.
