GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Good Idea Maybe

I just thought of a cool idea listening to the Panama covers on youtube. It would be cool if every month, gmc posted a song on the website and you would have to learn the song by the end of the month. And then we could post MIDI files or something on the website to see how good we can cover it. Maybe as a monthly bragging rights competition.

IDK sounds cool to me.

It would probably have to be a "GMC" orignal then because of Copyright complications.

That sounds like a really cool idea! Maybe even a beginner, intermediate and advanced level one each month.

cant u skip copyright if you give credit to the author...maybe we shouldnt put tabs up but just the name and them maybe we can figure the rest out our selves

I believe "Skipping Copyright" would result in bad things....

No, I don;t think you can skip copyright this way, but Spreedmasters suggestion of posting youtube links might work ...

It sounds somewhat interesting, maybe you could do the same with lessons on GMC ? That way you won't have copyrights problems...

OK, I have discussed this with Kris - we like the idea so much that we will make this into a kind of paralell mini-competition with the main competitions!
