The most important change to copyright law in 20 years. A new organization is going to be created to make sure artists get paid for streaming and internet distribution.

It doesn't solve all the problems with copyright in the digital music age, but it should be a big help. When Apple or Spotify streams a song, they have to pay the performer (performance rights) and the composer (mechanical rights). It's easy for them to figure out who the performer is and how much to pay them, but it's currently a nightmare to figure out who the composer is and how much to pay them.
