I think Lou Reed was kind of like 'The Streets' of his day, with his social, political commentary.. but I don't think it's really going to make much sense. Not sure who their target audience is.. but then I guess that's the point of art. You don't actually contrive to target people, you just create and let it go and it's there for anyone to pick it up and enjoy if they want.. or not. Load is one of my favorite albums by any band. It was different than what they were doing before, but the song writing and production was top notch.
