Grindguer - Writing A Solo Dynamics |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Rhythm placement - 4.8
Cleanness - 4.8 Feel - 3 Posture - 4.8 Sound - 4 Damn, this was very tricky to rate, you learned piece really good notes and rhythm wise but somehow you missed the main thing about this lesson, dynamic. Set free your picking hand and really HIT a string from time to time, it wont hurt but will give you better expression, good job nonetheless! -------------------- Youtube

Rhythm placement - 4.9
Cleanness - 4.7 Feel - 3.2 Posture - 4.5 Sound - 4 I pretty much agree with Muris. You got all the notes right and everything else but you played it just like you wanted to press all those frets and go home. Almost like a machine. It would be nice to hear some more feelings and expressions. Dynamics can be achieved with different variations of vibrato and note control. It's a stylistical issue but everyone has it. You hardly showed that expression but the playing was good. Also your tone could be a bit brighter regardless of the bridge pickup that you're using, or at least it sounds like that. The rest was very well done. -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile
