seeing as im going slowly blind sice an accident i had a year ago, i thought it would be cool to learn some techniques from blind players so im ready when I can see where my hands are!! so if any of you have any suggestions, just post a link or a youtube here!
thanks!
Blind or not, one of my all-time favorites.. Good luck man and I hate to hear the accident has left you like this.
What? Oh my...
Jeff Healey, Guitar.
Blind boys of Alabama has been active since 1930's (with different members), more of gospel than guitar but cool.
Sorry to hear about it man, had no idea. I hope it will turn out OK for you, I really do.
There are tons of old school bluesmen who were blind, but produced songs that influenced the music of today greatly.
Really sorry to hear that, maybe you can find some sight recovering professionals? And you better don`t think about that and especcialy agree with that you might go blind, because it makes things much worse. Situations without proper exit didn`t exist!
And speaking about guitarists, i knew only Willie Johnson, which Ivan already mentioned..
Jeff Healey was amazing! Too bad he passed recently
thanks for the suggestions guys!
id like to think ill get my vision back, but i loss the site in one eye due to a freak accident a year ago, and the strain i have on the other is starting to show, but who knows whatll happen
i have a while to get so good at the guitar, i wont need eyes to do anything!
Really sorry to hear that dude!!!!
sorry to hear that man, there are some great examples here that I cant really add to, but Jeff Healey was a monster blues player and an actor as well!! Hes about the best I can think of.
