Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate,

Great to find this lesson here. You've been working a lot on this one for many weeks, and the progress has been impressing. I don't mean that it's not deserved, I mean that it's impressing how much hard work you put on this one, and how much you could improve your take on it. I've given you specific feedback at the mentoring thread HERE. I'm here just for grading and to say CONGRATS and KEEP GOING!

Hi Tom. Wow, I remember your earliest REC takes so it's really gratifying to see how much you've improved!

Your strumming technique is looking very natural and competent now. Your timing overall is strong. There were only some minor moments of slightly veering ahead of the beat but you managed to bring it back ok.

Some chord changes could be a bit smoother but I find that there's always improvements to be made with changing between chords, even for people who've played for years. Well done, your hard work is reaping great results!

Hey Tom!

Your playing looks relaxed, smooth and natural. Most of time your timming and chord changes are solid and precise. As Ben said - chord changes always make some trouble even for more experienced players so it's hard to say if those can be 100% perfect to demand them being played like that by students. you really managed to get things done and your progress since first takes is something that brings smile on instructors faces smile.gif
