My First Demo Ever, Instrumental

I have a plan, that when I'll start playing better (thanks to GMS ), I'll re-record it. Let me know what you think about it. The first 18 sec, have a Dream Theater flavor and this is really awesome!!! I really love it 0:47-2:37 sounds rock and cool 2:39- 4:00 it's a little weird for me. I would make it shorter - unless you aim for creating vocal lines and making it a full fledged tune. It's way too repetitive in terms of a structure, for an instrumental song. Now, the lead part - as Monica said, is a bit too much out of the context. What was your consideration in respect to the note choice you used for the lead line? I wasn't thinking of any particular band while creating this tune, but I guess you can hear Metallica in it. They had the biggest influence on me. The intro part appeared in my head, when I was outdoors, and I had to murmur it to my telephone, in order to not forget it The verse riff came up when I was sitting with my guitar and just strumming with no point. Think in respect to the notes making up the scale - A minor would be A B C D E F G - what nice phrases can you build up with those? Give them a direction, a form, dynamics and a nice interpretation.
