How To Improvise?

For instance, use the pentatonic scale, and just play inside the scale, climb around in the scale, do some licks etc. Hmm I guess I'm not good at explaining, maybe wait for someone else to do it! (solo, melody or other chord pattern you choose). maybe change the riff or adding to it, might even change keys or time making it up as you go along. Well, what you're doing by that is basiclly improvising, now pick up your guitar, put on a song/backing track, and jam away, while trying to make the melody in your head come through the guitar, which is quite a difficult task, but with some practice you'll get there, and we all guitar god wanabe's will You are at GuitarMasterClass.net Don't miss today's free lick.
