Very nice. I need to get one too.. I heard this since Satriani uses it immensly. Yeah, he does. It is really a weird piece of gear, it is like having one instrument extra to deal with, but it sure can produce som cool effects! -------------------- Guitars: Ibanez AM-200, Ibanez GB-10, Fender Stratocaster Classic Player, Warmouth Custom Built, Suhr Classic Strat, Gibson Les Paul Standard 2003, Ibanez steel-string Amps: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Marshall JMP 2103, AER 60 Effects: BOSS DD-20, Danelectro Trans. Nice one Staffay!! I'll put it on the Gear page over the weekend!!! For Alternative Weapons you could add some of the Zoom catalogue of gear. Anything Zoom with a Pitch Shifter can be operated with an Expression Pedal and turned into a Whammy type pedal! It's not as versatile as the Digitech but it'll give you up to an octave of 'Whammy'!! Ooh, I did'nt know that.. I'll check it out! :-) Thats what I meant bout using a harmonizer with a MIDI-pedal or such.... //Staffay -------------------- Guitars: Ibanez AM-200, Ibanez GB-10, Fender Stratocaster Classic Player, Warmouth Custom Built, Suhr Classic Strat, Gibson Les Paul Standard 2003, Ibanez steel-string Amps: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Marshall JMP 2103, AER 60 Effects: BOSS DD-20, Danelectro Trans. Great review Staffy. I tried Whammy briefly, and I didn't liked the unnatural sound of it, but what the pedal can do was really interesting.

Great review Staffy. I tried Whammy briefly, and I didn't liked the unnatural sound of it, but what the pedal can do was really interesting. Yeah, I can see Your point here, it's not really a thingy for everyday use (other than if You play experimental guitar), rather a tool for spicing things up sparse in some situations. //Staffay -------------------- Guitars: Ibanez AM-200, Ibanez GB-10, Fender Stratocaster Classic Player, Warmouth Custom Built, Suhr Classic Strat, Gibson Les Paul Standard 2003, Ibanez steel-string Amps: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Marshall JMP 2103, AER 60 Effects: BOSS DD-20, Danelectro Trans. Yeah, I can see Your point here, it's not really a thingy for everyday use (other than if You play experimental guitar), rather a tool for spicing things up sparse in some situations. //Staffay Yeah, it is a great effect nonetheless, expands the expressiveness of the instrument, and few guitarists made it famous, first one for me being Mr. Morello. When I was a kid, listening to his work with RATM, I was trying to do same riffs and solos as him without whammy, with some delay and autowah (didn't even know about whammy existence at the time) - you can imagine how that sounded -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
