During last night's video chat, I could see AK Rich's back yard (sort of back yard) which was covered in snow. I spied a bird table which led me to asking Rich the all important question: So, do you feed the birds ?

I was satisfied to discover that he take his role very seriously and he does feed the birds.

Birds rock and they need to be fed. I take my role very seriously and I get dismayed when I see the bird food is getting low so I have to pester my gf to put some more on the shopping. smile.gif

Who feeds the birds ?

I do, kind of. We don't have a good place at home to feed birds, but at a recreation area nearby.

And yes, birds do rock.

I feed the pigeons I sometimes feed the sparrows too it gives me a sense of enormous well-being (parklife)
And then I'm happy for the rest of the day safe in the knowledge there will always be a bit of my heart devoted to it (parklife)

I've fed birds in my old living place, but the new one has no proper place to do so. So now only birds I feed are ducks in the local park tongue.gif

We put a lot of bread out and such, of course our dogs really likes to get that bread just because they're jealous and doesn't want the birds to have it laugh.gif , but yeah I think it is important to feed the birds! smile.gif , they seem like nice animals and doesn't bother me, so they get a thumb up! cool.gif

She is a Military Macaw. We have had her for about 20 years (they can live to be 70).
We got her as a young bird. She was still yellow (chick feathers) when we got her.

[attachment=29904:IMG_4914.JPG]

Here is a shot of a couple that was just hanging out with me in the grass and having a short nap , the house in the shot is of my parents next door to me which I was honored to build for them smile.gif

[attachment=29905:IMG_3183.JPG]

And a short vid of some youngsters hanging out with me after having some cracked corn, the one was very interested in the zipper on my hoodie, notice I am keeping my jewels guarded biggrin.gif

We live in south east Queensland which is a paradise for thousands of birds. We have a bird bath because it is so dry here at the moment but there is no need to feed them. Our chooks are 3 months old in the video and they're loving our veggie garden.
