I am using a very simple setup for everything I do and I like it a lot when my hands seem to adapt to the sound and make my guitar sound as I want it to sound biggrin.gif

Not to mention when you have your sound down in your hands you can easily and confidently get up and jam anywhere w/o your own axe. Also, when you get to the point that your traveling far away to gigs it's not too much of a problem to use backline and rented gear (that's usually amps but you get the drift).
