thank you, and xD yes i trusted my ears the whole time.
and ty i am still searching for a good tone..thing is that i am recoding direct from the amp, so i get an extra boost of HUM, cuz i have some electrical ground issues in my room tongue.gif

Trusting in ears is the way guys like Hendrix, SRV and Slash created some of the greatest solos. biggrin.gif

Are you using the line out from your amp?

Haha, just noticed I should have used A major laugh.gif Well, that's what happens when you listen to Ben's chat with one ear and record a take for a collab at the same time smile.gif I've got more time this weekend and will mess around with this backing again wink.gif

hahaha yeah, Ben's chats are so amazing so I really understand why you used the incorrect scale. biggrin.gif

yeah, I know that type of line out. It doesn't work very good for distorted sounds. You would improve your sound a lot if you can get a mic like ShureSm57 or similar.

Hey guys! This is the final mix and comments.

Sean1234
Hi friend. Thanks for your take! I hafve to say that your take has some really cool moments where you play amazing melodies always following the chords. Your technique is really good and I’m amazed of the precision of your bending. There are some little timing issues in some moments but nothing very importat. Just pay attention to that. You tone is fantastic, it’s clean, warm and sustained. The addition of delay make it sound perfectly with the mix. Great job!

Thanks a lot man wink.gif Loved the backing!

This is the new mix with the re-take of Guitarrero!

Attached File  Final_Mix_2.mp3 ( 3.83MB ) Number of downloads: 108

Guitarrero:
I think that this time you did an amazing job. Every note is on scale and fits perfectly with the chord that is played in the progression. I like the fact that the solo evolves first changing the rhythm and then starting doing octave chords melodies. In some moments I feel that the guitar is a bit out of tune but maybe it¡s a calibration issue. I like the tone, the EQ sounds good and it has enough sustain without sounding too dirty. Thanks for taking the time to record the take again. smile.gif
