Here is a "Full Range" (just means it will handle low through high frequencies like a full range speaker) Mini Rig that I built from a Digitech Genesis 3 and a stereo 2.1 sat/sub. It sounds quite good and I was so impressed I recorded a bit on camera. Makes a very handy practice rig and I just leave it on and running.

*PLAYING STARTS ABOUT 1:minute in.

Total cost is less than $100 for this gear used. Anyone else got a homebrew rig?

Thanks smile.gif It's a great example of getting decent tone from very old very limited gear. I'm convinced that pretty decent tone can be had using nearly any gear if you tweak it right smile.gif The only exception I've found is trying to get high gain from line 6 products. Just never been happy with it. Then again, the newer digitech products have the same issue. This particular box is from when they were using the Audio DNA MIPS chips before the RP line which sorta wrecked thing imho.
