Greetings everyone.

I'm 19 years old from Norway, been playing guitar since I was 14. I love everything from jazz to metal to j-pop to folk. I love everything that sounds exotic to my ears, and I just began learning Mojo Oro by Muris Varajic. Never heard anything like it
The main problem I've had in my playing is that I've played too much excersises and too little music, which is now changing as I focus more on developing certain sounds and improvisation abilities. I have a youtube account and three posted videos, but they aren't really showing the current me (or is that just an illusion I've created in my mind to believe in my own progress). But don't kill me for the horrible vibrato in my oldest video. It's there because it has views.

What more? Well, I'm currently serving civil service at an elementary school, just started a band (which you might hear more about if it goes well), and... Well, after I get home from work I play guitar, go to sleep and repeat.

I'm really eager to get started here on GMC, and it seems like such a friendly community and everything (truly a one-of-a-kind here on the internet). Only problem is where to start

I hope you all accept me, and that I can participate in everything thats going on here.

Welcome man! If you want improve improvising and such be sure to check out the ongoing collaborations, where you'll have to compose solos over certain backing tracks! You can then use the techniques you have learned in a cool and efficient way if you participate.
