Don't bother with Fender Custom Shop hardware. Check out the best upgrade you can do, a Callaham bridge replacement for your MexiStrat.

Callaham bridge and Texas Specials would be a great upgrade for a MIM Strat man. You would get more sustain, better ringing and punchier tone.

You can take a look at some Bareknuckle pickups too, but they are a bit expensive.

Been offered a set of texas specials on a pre wired pick guard for 265 US (Around 180 GBP) delivered, used but in decent confition, does that sound like a good deal?

Now I'm not sure what a preloaded pickguard with those pups would cost however I do know that for around 180-200USD
you'll get a NEW set of the texas special pups so sounds a bit expensive to me! -------------------- Guitars: ESP Eclipse I CTM Full Thickness, Ibanez RG470 with EMG81/85 pickups.

Sigfridsson is right, I think the better thing would be to buy new set of pups and just swap them in your existing pickguard. They would be new, and it will be cheaper.
