How about this?Please read this https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&p=564197 The idea is the following: you first deduce a mode by applying its formula over a major scale - the parent scale. Then, you harmonize the mode just like you would do with the parent scale and you got chords. Now You consider the first chord as being the 1st degree of THAT mode one option is that when you start a chord progression with THAT chord - presto you have a modal progression.
