Hello Gabriel.
Here is what i have recorded.

TASK 1:

- Work on this lesson: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Malmsteen-Made-Easy/

- Practice it over the backing track, and dedicate some time to improvise your own phrases over the backing.

I start the improv with the same lick than the lesson.

TASK 2:

- Work on this lesson: Shred Journey - LESSON #12 - FULL SCALE INVERSIONS

It's lesson 13. I have try to go as fast as i could. I think is a bad idea :/
Tempo = 120, 4 Notes per beat

Thanks in advance.

Hi Chris! Congrats on your amazing work!

I think that each of these videos show that you are on the right track with your practice. There is some room to polish Malmsteen's lesson but it's very close. The improvisation is very interesting, I think that your phrasing is tasty, and that the work that you've been doing appears reflected in your own improvisation.

The Shred exercise still needs more work in order to sound clean at the current speed. I notice that you have some hand sync issues yet so please keep on practising it.

I'd like to give you 5 more days for the current assignment,

What do you think?

For this thread, it's ok if you just rec a take of the Shred exercise, but keep the other two tasks in your diary practice.

Hi Chris, it's up to you! If you provide a video of the Shred exercise is enough for me. By the way you can share vids of the other tasks if you want me to check.

Hi Chris, I don't think that this is horrible, this is not bad. How to fix this? With practice. The best to work on speed is to practice smaller blocks as loops so what you could do is to divide this exercise in 4 or 6 parts and work on them as a loop, trying to economise movements the more possible.

By the way, we can also move to the next assignment, what do you think?
