Hi.. I've been listening to this song lately.... and it's not very difficult to play EXCEPT.. for the SOLO.. (jaw drops) lol
I know it's nothing for the guys here at GMC.. they are wickedly awesome..
but for me.. it's a BIG challenge.. .. but, since the whole song.. means so much to me.. i'm willing to do whatever it takes to.. playing it right...

thanks GMCrs..

ps - what effects does Tom uses.. (on the solo).. it's pretty complicated..
thanks again..
rock on ~

I don't remember the song but every solo he does has a Digitech Whammy pedal and usually a tremelo pedal. These two I'd imagine are definitely in there.

There's definitely a Wah in there towards the end, but effects wise it doesn't sound too complicated. Bit of delay and some reverb smile.gif

I wasn't familiar with the song before I just checked it out so some others may be able to help more.

Do you have Guitar Pro software? I recommend getting that and giving the internet a search for a guitar pro tab of this song.

Yeah, there is a wah in that lead. That makes it a bit harder to transcribe. I didn't hear a whammy though...
The difficult thing here is that the lead sounds more or less improvised with a bunch of pentatonic licks.

I always find it harder to learn improvised stuff as it's more of a feel thing more than a correctly placed in the tempo kind of lead.

All of it is pretty much straight forward bluesy pentatonic licks in E.
