D Mixo Equals A Maj With B7th?

You also have a C in D Mixo which is a C# in A Major. Unless I'm being a silly goose. D Mixolydian has the same notes as G Major exactly. Like to figure out which mixolidyan is the same as which major chord? I just learnt every pattern in every key because of kjutte lol. He inspired me to know them all. And now I do it has helped significantly. I just looked at it and it seems if you have C Major you add 7 half notes to get G Mixolydian and the same for every other one. So add seven half notes to the major root to get Mixolydian transformation. Judging from the patterns however, it has the exact same notes as Gionian, Eaeolian, F#locrian etc. And back to the flat 3rd. if you flatted the third you'll have 1 2 b3 4 5 6 b7. I like this approach too, because inside the known boxes you simply modify one note (most times), it makes it easier for me for instance if I want to play E Dorian, to simply raise the 6th on my E minor scale. Lydian = Major scale w/ aug 4th Locrian = Minor scale w/ b2 and dim 5th And i agree- this is defnitely the best way to show the difference in the modes, for too many reasons.
