Original lesson: Alternate Picking - Thirds by Muris Varajic

Finally got a new guitar...An Ibanez S520 I am aware about the noise, and I've changed the cable, but I think it's about my soundcard on my laptop, so I'm thinking about buying the Scarlett 2i2 to make the record sound good.

This is a very good take of this demanding lesson. The first thing that I've noted on this one is that your guitar is not perfectly tuned. This can be because you've forgot to check it or maybe because the guitar needs some set up (new strings or calibration).

Your playing is precise, except in some very little moments in which you tend to rush a bit the tempo. But this is not something really dramatic, your picking is consistent and there aren't unwanted noises, everything sounds clean and clear.

You are ready for more advanced alternate picking lessons.

Hi, your technical performance on this is very good. Your picking and finger movements are both relaxed and accurate. It's a shame about that hissing noise, hopefully you'll be able to get rid of it by upgrading your soundcard.

There's only a couple of minor points to mention:

-As Gabriel said, one of the strings is out of tune so that detracts from your solid performance.

-There's a small hand synchronisation issue at 0.55, where the pick and little finger don't match up.

That's about it - the playing is excellent. Well done.

First...congrats on your well performed take.

Second...
There are only minor issues here and the most distracting is the pitch. It's a very specific kind of pitch issue that clearly sound like you most likely press your floyd too much while you rest your hand on it. I bet it's the silyl cause of your "flange" pitch. Consider taking your guitar toa tech and re-setup the floyd. Sometimes adding or removing one of spring will change the "stifness" of "point zero" in your floyd. In other words could make it less sensitive for right hand resting on it.

At just a few point I had a feel of timing being not as perfect as through most of the take....but it's really minor and subjective so I'\ll pass on it Great job!
