Alternate Picking - Thirds , Lesson By Muris Varajic |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Alternate Picking - Thirds by Muris Varajic
Finally got a new guitar...An Ibanez S520 I am aware about the noise, and I've changed the cable, but I think it's about my soundcard on my laptop, so I'm thinking about buying the Scarlett 2i2 to make the record sound good. |

Hi mate,
This is a very good take of this demanding lesson. The first thing that I've noted on this one is that your guitar is not perfectly tuned. This can be because you've forgot to check it or maybe because the guitar needs some set up (new strings or calibration). Your playing is precise, except in some very little moments in which you tend to rush a bit the tempo. But this is not something really dramatic, your picking is consistent and there aren't unwanted noises, everything sounds clean and clear. You are ready for more advanced alternate picking lessons. Keep on the hard work! -------------------- My lessons
