Changing The Tuning On Guitar Pro

Im working on a lian lesson and i dont want to tune my guitar down a half step... I just want to play it in standard. I mean, what if the track plays the low E string in a dropped tuning, you can't play that unless you really downtune the guitar. I guess this only works for equal down tunings of all the strings.For drop-D etc tunings you need to move (detune) from the standard tuning to play it right. I recently played this lesson in school and I practiced in standard tuning. Before I started to play in school I downtuned it.
