Since our financial represantative Mr.Milenkovic have been remarkable quiet in this thread in the past time, im suspicious that he migh have taken all our finances and spent them on some local mud instead of going to China to cut a deal on some heavy-duty coffeee-machines.

Not to digress, but speaking of China.....

I learned to make great coffee from a Chinese member of a programming team, whose family were "restaurant people". I make it with boiling water, hand pouring it though a funnel. Using rapidly boiling water is key, which does not happen with your typical drip machine. You don't have to use expensive coffee, a lot of restaurants with great coffee just use cheap coffee. However they have fancy expensive drip machines which cost a bundle. I just hand pour it the boiling water, and store it in a good thermos (that keeps things hot all day). I rarely get coffee that I feel tastes as good as mine, made in this inexpensive way. I may have said this earlier on the thread, not sure, but no matter, this was great advice, and I am sharing it. You can get a nice glass coffee pot and funnel set for up to 10 cups, for about $10. I like the bigger #6 paper funnels.

You definitely have a point here, thats the way i made coffee in my youth, when there was no coffee-machines. But now I use one that crushes the beans and kind of putting steam in them before pouring out the coffee. Its the best investment I ever made. (except for some guitars of course) The only device that probably will be better would be a 25-year old brazilian babe crushing the beans with her feet doing a samba dance in front of me, and then pouring boiling water over them. (but I will never been able to afford such luxury)

That sounds baaaad Zen! laugh.gif
In order to practice when everyone has gone asleep, we need some serious stimulation here.
Ofc. we can do as Yngwie - use food instead, but then we gonna die from heart diseases before we
even learned the lydian scale. Alcohol/Drugs is not good either, since the brain gets messed up.
Women gets You tired and those Power-drinks tastes like bull-piss.
So what do we got left??? COFFEE !!!!!! biggrin.gif
