Upload For The Mtp Intermediate Competition

Dec 10 2008, 11:11 PM	Learning Tone Master Posts: 628 Joined: 15-August 08 From: London, UK	After reading the MTP intermediate thread, I thought I'd create and upload a recording of my overall playing and creative ability. I've tried to cram in some techniques to accurately show my ability - possibly at the cost of it sounding a bit clustered and cheesy! I improvised most of the guitar "solo" track, and sat down and worked out a backing chord sequence earlier this evening. I'm quite happy with how it sounds, and am noticing that whenever I sit down and make something like this - it always ends up sounding very merry and cheesy! Time for some new scales perhaps?! I recorded all guitar parts in adobe audition, using a Strat into a GT-8 and then into the line input of the Line 6 Toneport. I don't know how long you've been playing, but you have the same problems as many members- especially talking about vibrato, and a few bends. Have better days than others, but most certainly a troubling area of my playing. I've been playing for about 7 years now, not sure if it shows!
