Hey guys! Are you ready to rock again??
As some of you may know we've completed modules 1 and 2 for the improvisation course. This new thread is to refresh and strengthen all the lessons and concepts that we've worked during the course. Module 1: Major Scales 1. Major Scale (Shapes, sequences & arpeggios) 2. Pentatonic Major Scale Module 2: Minor Scales 1. Minor Scale (Shapes, sequences & arpeggios) 2. Pentatonic Minor Scale If you have been following the course, you'll find this thread very useful keep on experimenting with this concepts, but if you missed it, this is a second chance to learn the course. ASSIGNMENT I: During this first 10 days of practice, we will get into the #Week1 concepts. These are the guidelines for this first assignment: 1. Watch again the video with explanations (if you don't remember it) 2. Choose a major backing track from our lesson archive. Here are some suggestions: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Pentatonic-Major-Soul/ https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Melodic-Major-Soloing/ 3. Practice the scale shapes, sequences and arpeggios over the backing if you need it. 4. Improvise. 5. Record yourself and share your audio or videos here. Deadline: December 21th (10 days.) Feel free to share many takes during the next 10 days. Finally, It would be great if you have in mind these concepts when working on this assignment: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Your-First-Phrases/ Who is in? -------------------- My lessons
