I dont tink the pick has anything to do with that the strings are ringing. you have to use palmmute to make it sound clean.
As for the pick i would recomend using Dunlop Lucky 13 picks i use them and i love them or maybe try out th V-pick that alot of peaple here uses -------------------- My Gear

Hi, plektrum = pick
I suggest you get a few thinner and maybe one thicker compared to the one you got and then try to find the one that feels more comfortable. Don't know for how long you played but I belive thin picks feels easier to use if you're a beginner, at least it was for me. I used something like 0.70 But today, may years later, I use 1.14 and thicker since they give better response. So I use the ones that feel better for me. -------------------- My bands homepage

Welcome to GMC.
Regarding picks I suggest you go to music store and buy a bunch of picks and play them out. You will find the one you like in no time. Also that sound that pick produce is there to stay man, you can tame it a bit, but all it matters is how you play. Try as many as you can!
Go with what feels natural. I play metal stuff and use a .88-1.00 But for seven string i use 1.14 |
