Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Mark! how are you?
I think that you did a good job with this lesson. You can play the whole thing with consistent picking and tight tempo. I notice that the main thing to improve on this take and your guitar playing is vibrato. Your vibrato is not natural, it sounds nervous and the reason is that you start it very soon, you don't let the note sound first, and also because all your vibratos start fast and keep the same speed and width until you change the note. Vibrato should grow gradually in both ways (width and speed) and make it go more natural with the backing. You can do this "nervous" vibrato here and there, but doing it all the time gives your playing an only and not really enjoyable feeling. Other than that, I think that this is sounding good. Keep on the hard work! -------------------- My lessons
