In the Guitar Techniques Poll (https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...showtopic=47816) sweep picking has been mentioned a lot. So here is one of my sweep picking exercises, over an Em-D-Em-G backing track. It contains 3-string arpeggios. In the TAB you can see that I didn't use the same arpeggios over a given chord, i.e. I didn't play an E-minor triad arpeggio over the Em chord - that wouldn't sound too interesting.
If you have any technique questions regarding this exercise, then let me know, I'll be glad to answer. http://soundcloud.com/jonastamas-hangmester/em-d-em-g-arpeggio-02-90-bpm TAB: You can download the backing track at 3 different BPMs here at part 01 of the series: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...showtopic=47809 (Btw, part 01 of the series contains a string-skipped arpeggio exercise). |
