Problem with my dirty playing

Like I can't even play the scale fast without missing a few notes. I'm really good at speed picking and its like my left hand is improving a little slower then my right. And All i pretty much do is try to hit all the notes I can when Im doing fast licks. And people like it, my band and the fans say "your amazing" and stuff like that and I've just been continuing with this dirty playing. Now I'm trying to clean up my play and its quite hard. Then i use to go a little bit slower for a while and then it usualy comes back to me and i can play faster then before without that it sounds dirty.
