Developing Your Own Speed Runs |
I never really took the time to listen to what he had to say about the guitar and what not but what he says is really moving to myself. And I recall what Marty Friedman actually said something about scale boxes and how he developed his own scales by playing a chord and piecing together notes that sounded good with that chord because all in all he thought just playing a scale up and down was boring. But all this got me thinking and is there a correct way to about making your own speed runs that doesnt just sound like the scale itself going up and down ?
