Seems pretty good, doesn't it? Is the open-E tuning used alot or barely?
Open E is pretty common for slide guitar.
Duane Allman always tuned to open E when he played slide
Open E is is great for slide!
Add roadie, few more guitars and you're set to rock the globe.
The guys name is John tuggle and he is a great slide and blues player, I kind of subscribe to his site (for the free lessons ) but I think his approach is very good to slide blues.
I would try open G tuning as well as i find it has a bit more scope in blues, certainly Robert Johnson used it a lot.
Yeah! I know open G and use it in songs like honky tonk women!:D
