Yes, we do. Bands like Cannibal Corpse, Suffocation and Morbid Angel have amazing guitar work, but are not represented at all on GMC. If any instructor is interested, a cannibal corpse style lesson would be a good start.

Thanks Lian. Recomended listening is cannibal corpse 1st three albums. (all tuned down 1 Half step)

Ye a Cannibal Corpse lesson would be great, though guitarwise Im more interrested in the slow and heavy Morbid Angel riffs.

There's a reason it's called "cookie monster vocals". I've heard a lot of death metal vocalists that are worse at it than the cookie monster

And I agree that a Morbid Angel style lesson would be awesome, I remember requesting a Trey Azagtoth a while ago, but nothing happened

I'm not the biggest fan of death metal, but I do enjoy Dethklok for some reason.

No, on a serious note, kjutte wasnt commenting on death metal, he was commenting on cannibal corpse. I dont mind death metal, i think some songs are pretty neat. However, cannibal corpse is a little uh, weird.

Depends on how serious you take the lyrics... Cannibal Corpse lyrics all are small horror stories, which perfectly fit the atmosphere the music creates. If they would sing about love and flowers that would be really messed up.

I didn't know you wanted to discuss Death Metal in general.
This topic has nothing to discuss about, We need a Death Metal lesson, ya we all can agree with that. So whats wrong with having a little fun?
If you feel in some way offended by my picture I apologize for that. I love Death Metal too and want more lessons in that style, but if you want to discuss Death Metal you may should open a anotother thread in an approciate subforum. Including a a basis for discussion

No big deal in those lyrics, I've heard worse on MTV by rappers, and even worse than that on building sites and at football matches!!
