Now, this is what I call shredding!!! I would love to be on that gig... You lucky canadians, both a great hockey-team and some awesome guitar-players! tongue.gif
For those who had'nt checked out Philip Sayce yet, I really recommend to, since he's an awesome player and one of the most interesting artists in modern blues.

Oh Yeah.. I was digging this. Both guitar players were all over it!
My kind of music wink.gif

Thanks for sharing Staffy.

Not heard of this guy. I'll be looking into it! Joe is right up there with gary Moore at the moment for me, along with Davy Knowles and aynsley Lister, not exactly shredders but great songs !

Yeah, and he's playing on a strat... biggrin.gif Just kidding, he's awesome on whatever he plays! In the second vid he's doin some ugly things with the volume control.... Philip is a more agressive player I think, more towards Hendrix stuff, there are also some great vids of him from NAMM 2009, where he's branding Fender.

AAARGH! I just died.

That was some serious... my gosh. Incredible! Gotta love it! But above all, Philip's performing was incredible. He knows what looks good, and dives completely into the music.

great great jam,!

I love that fast thumb technique

Posted by: Sensible Jones Mar 18 2010, 05:40 PM

I'm really surprised that Phillip isn't more well known, his aggression and technique are phenomenal!
Joe...awesome as always!!!!

PS. Watch out for Joe's new project. He's teaming up with:-
Glenn Hughs (Deep Purple bassist/Vocalist),
Jason Bonham (Drums) and
Derek Sherinian (Ex Dream Theatre Keyboards)!!!

It's going to go under the name of 'Black Country'!!

Wow what are You talking about Jones is quite a news. Although I never liked Glenns voice to much, so much awesomeness as Joe and Jason in one place will be a hit most probably:)
