Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Dieterle! You are improving from take to take. In this one I can note that you are more close with the timing and a bit more comfortable with the chord positions and arrangements. I think that you still need to continue practising this one since it seems aren't 100% secure all the time with what comes next. You also need to continue adjusting the timing to play it tighter. Keep on the hard work! wink.gif

Hi Dieter ! This is still improving but there's still some areas that are not in place yet.

That transition at 0:23 (and the other times that it happens) is still too delayed. There should be no break between the last note played and then the notes on the B & E string.

The descending lick at 0:37 is getting better but the first chord came in too early. You have to wait for the equivalent of an 8th note (I think that's right.. somebody else please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) before starting that descending run. Then it will be on time smile.gif

Those notes at 0:54 need to be played as natural harmonics so you're fingers should only be resting over the strings where the tab dictates, but only lightly touching the strings so when you pick it you get a 'ping' sound, like a chime of a bell.

Maybe Alex can help give you some more pointers to nail this. I think you're putting in a lot of hard work and we would all like to see you pass this one so let's do our best to help Dieter on this, hey Guys ! smile.gif

Hey Dieter! We're a bunch of guys on a mission here, so here's my input smile.gif you need to get more into the piece man. I mean, I think you have to stop thinking about the positions less and less, when you practice. Try and associate the sounds with the positions and try to anticipate what's next, always anticipate, so that you may hesitate no more smile.gif I think the details were covered by Ben successfully, so follow his and Gabe's advice carefully smile.gif
