If money were no object, what would be the one piece of gear you just have to have? This includes amps, guitars, effects, etc.
Oh, so many things...
I think I am going to go with one of these very special guitars. I have no idea what these cost but when I last met the guy who builds them he talked about car prices... I have played http://www.aresguitar.se/guitar249.htm and it was the first time I realized how big difference the guitar could make in your tone, I played this one unplugged and I could still hear an amazing difference from my Les Paul.
He lives quite near where me (and Prantare) lives and he does all service on my guitars.

I think a Matchless DC-30 for me
Complete pro tools rig equipped studio with isolation booths, expensive mics and pre amps and a massive selection of amps and cabs to use!
Guitar wise and tone wise I'm very happy with what I use now,but having a uber epensive studio would be fun:)
Probably a Parker nitefly, maybe with stan hineslys. an Ibanez Satch model, a Fender Strat like Marcus Lavendells or Yngwies, and 3 Gibson les paul '58. £ so i could have EMGs, Dimarzios and gibsons. I'd also have a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, a Marshal JCM 800, and a Fender Twin Reverb.
Lone star
A little shack in our backyard, filled with equipment in a studio form I just walk in and close the door, wich (ofcourse ) is sound proof. Then I can choose between eight guitars en plug into one of my twelve amps That must be fun, you can just keep reviewing them for yourself "this one has a bit more output...Nah, I like this reverb better"
I will just take everything what's already been posted before me
But to have a room setup as a studio would be really awesome.

Pro recording studio!
Well, I'm looking into building all of my gear actually. Not for a few years probably, when I really become the player I want to be, but when that happens, I'll build my dream guitar, dream amp, and any pedals I might want.
But, in the spirit of the thread, I'd like a goldtop p-90 les paul (with a bigsby and locking tuners), a mesa lonestar, electro harmonix POG, and then would probably do all of my effects with something like a TC electronic nova system.

Ok, First off this is one of those fantasy threads. I like these since reality is such a kick in the ass sometimes.
Honestly, if money was no object and it could be only one thing (the one thing is killing me). I would be allowed the honor to purchase Randy Rhoads's old Marshall. Never to this day have I heard a guitar tone like his. I'm sure 90% was him on his Les Paul.
But, the honor of just pluging into his Marshall would be worth any amount of money. He was tragically taken from this world at 24 years old. However, his talent is still not really understood.
Rest in peace Randy,
As long as I'm alive so will his memory!!
Tommyboy
Imagine I wrote something here, and even I have that one day, I'll find something else to add in another wishlist. So it is easy as it seems, I never make wishlists. When I can afford one day, I may evaluate my options
Id have to get a Mesa Mark IIC+ or a Mark IV head. Then of course I'd need a whole rack full of effects, wait this is starting to sound familiar..... cough*Petrucci*cough
