Ok not sure how this thread will turn out but here goes....

What would you play as your party piece? i.e. intros / famous parts of songs, tv ads or film scores.

I'll start you off....

Drag Racer (BBC Snooker Theme) - Doug Wood Band
The Imperial March (Darth Vader's Theme) - John Williams
Hey Joe - Jimi Hendrix
Sissy Strut - The Meters
Pick Up the Pieces - Average White Band
Phantom of the Opera (intro) - Iron Maiden (not Lloyd Webber's trite!!)

I'm sure you guys / gals out there will have a impressive list.

These would be really cool to play imo:

Rocket Queen - Guns N Roses
Welcome To The Jungle - Guns N Roses
Fuel - Metallica
Smooth - Santana
Into The Night - Santana

Songs by the Beatles would also suit this situation, like While My Guitar Gently Sleeps or Let it Be, everybody knows those tracks! biggrin.gif

There's a good kiwi song that I'd probably play, Bliss by Th' Dudes.
+1 to Imperial Match.
The Halo theme song has got some pretty cool guitar in it too, but most people who go to parties might not recognize it biggrin.gif
