Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Here's my take on Laszlos lesson. Btw. the lesson features some great modern jazz timing, so I wont be whining about this now... biggrin.gif

Some timing and accuracy could be executed better. Overall not bad at all. I like the feel. Please don't forget to leave the link for the original lesson.

Great job Staffy, some minor timing issues, but every note is clearly audible. A 9 for this one

Very nice playing Staffy! I think, the chord-progression and the main theme was very good. Maybe in the first chord part there were some minor problem in the timing and though you had modified some walking bass notes and chords in this part, it sounded absolutely good.
However in the improvisation as I said you earlier you have to pay more attention to the stressing. smile.gif smile.gif
