What do I play in the sample video? Do I create an example video or do i just shred it to the max?

Well the first step is to create a good SI lesson - and Smells will help you with that!

If your strongest side is to shred it to the max then do so. However, if you can play a heavy metal riff more convicning than you can shred - do that instead!

The SI board is the Student Instructor Boards which are http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_forum/index.php?showforum=22 There is a guidelines post and a sample lesson that has been posted by Kris to give you an idea of the sort of content you need to be putting in to the lesson.
Have a look through some of the already posted lessons to give you an idea of the kind of quality that you need to produce.

If you need any more help then feel free to PM me and I`ll do my best to help you

not quite lol, it goes back to the days of medal of honour, my nick was "Chris`s Smelly pants" dont ask me why I just saw some childish humour when it came up that " Bigdaddy was torn apart by Chris`s Smelly Pants machine gun", I played it for ages, joined a team and it got shortened to "Smelly", I made some friends that I still meet up with now and then and they still call me "Smells", and I pretty much use it for all sorts now there ya go, something thats just kinda stuck

Well Smells I must step in to defend you nickname - I think the username choice of "Smells" clearly illustrates that you are confident enough not to have to hide behind "The emperor of Rock" or "Shredding Machine Monster"! And you have reasons to be confident with yourself, since you rock and [to me] are a great guy! I like the Smell of it!

PS I hope I didn't offend anyone with the nickname "Shredding Machine Monster"

I think it's good commercial. Chris should appear on the front page of GMC satying - Hello, I'm Smells, I'm very happy with that nick. Since I joined GMC I've made huge improvements on my playing and I'm so happy with Smells concidering before I came here people used to call med Stinks.

I was tempted to make something up about how I got the "nick", along the lines of when something "Smells like .... (u know what)"
I could have used my WoW nick I guess? "Smellynator"

Tarnation! When I signed up I thought the nickname field was the field for your real name so I put in "Andrew Cockburn" - I was SO going to use "Shredding Machine Monster" as my nickname but I missed the chance - now Kris, you are upsetting me by reminding me of that sad missed opportunity

Oh well, I should follow Chris' example and re-register with "BO" as my nickname I think ...
