Hi Teachers I love your lessons!

Question and suggestion:

Would it be possible to provide us students with the effect used in the video lessons? Just a simple reference like: "The effect used in this lesson is High Gain, low Gain, FX heavy etc etc or "You will need lots of delay and modulation to sound the same as my sound" or "you will need a jazzy and acoustic sound for this" or "The amp I am using for this tutorial is 96 Brit Celest V30"
I am not asking you to upload your sound or ship me your amplifier blink.gif . Just a little refence to mimic your sound so I am sure doing the lesson 100% correct.
I noticed some techniques only work with certain effects and I am having a hard time finding the matching effect every time I try a lesson.(like tapping)

Maybe you can do it with the new video's from now on?

Hope this is possible

thats a good idea but its depend on amps and pedal effects each amp or effect has own set up so thats would be
good if we all have the same gear

Hisham, offcourse not everybody can match the teachers sounds used close. I am lucky to own a Pod X3 So I can get pretty close.

Sorry that there is not a solution for everybody sad.gif

Yeh even though we won't have the same gear as the teacher- it'd be nice to know what is going on with the effects and amp so that we can try and get close to the sound, either with gear or getting some software.

Maybe if we do a separate video where we show how gear is setup?

Was not aiming to giving you even more work.

Just a simple 3 sentences with a brief explanation what kinda sound will work to do your lesson would be helpfull.

Example:
Hi Students, welcome to my lesson about .......
Gear used today are ...... and guitar is a .......

Please include any information you think will be important for us ( and please explain it like you would explain it too a very very small child) to make sure everybody get's it.
Some beginners will say "what the heck is an effect!"

That's it wink.gif

P.S You are always welcome to make video's of your different setups offcourse. This would become setup related video tutorials then( which you can link too). I think it would be cool and much appreciated by many
